General mistakes
This plant is not mentioned in botanic and systematic references or in pharmacopeia. In Iran also it was mistaken with European black cumin in recent years. Carvone is the major component of European black cumin whereas the amount is negligible (0.1%) in Iranian black cumin (Kermani).
The other mistake with this species is Cuminium Cyminum L.
