Frangula Alnus is a plant with the scientific name of Frangula Alnus Miller (Rhamuns Frangula L) from the genus Rhamnaceae, which is one of the export herbs because of its extraordinary properties.
Physical Specifications
It is a deciduous shrub which grows up to 4-8 meters. The leaves are ovate, 2-3 cm long and 1.5-4.5 cm wide. The leaves are oval-shaped and broad with a round or wedged base, hairless, or with red hairs on the lower surface along the veins. Flowers are in clusters of 2-7 alternate arrangements, sometimes single and 3.5 cm long. Fruits are round, initially green and later dark red. The flowers are white, in axillary cymes with long peduncles.
