Active ingredients of Iranian Oxtongue flower
Oxtongue flower contain mucilage (3-5%), flavonoid (0.15%), anthocyanin, Aglycone, Delphinidine and Cyanidine (13.43%), small amounts of alkaloid from Pyrrolizidine branch. Sodium and Potassium salts are found in 10% petal tea, 11.5 and 520 mg, respectively.
